Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Location: Southend On Sea 

Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join the team. As an HCA, a drivers license and or access to your own transport is essential you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to residents or patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and offering companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide support with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in health to the nursing team.
• Assist with medication reminders and maintain accurate records.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents or patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or patients.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents or patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.
• Certification or training in healthcare assistance is a plus but not mandatory.
• Valid Drivers License
